Jacobs began her acting studies at the age of 8 and was enrolled in the acting class on Saturdays at the Pittsburgh Playhouse while growing up.She performed with The Pittsburgh Public Theater where she had a regular place in the Public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest leading her to be chosen in the role of Titania in the production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
